ITH Pharma

We have had the pleasure of supplying mezzanine floors and storage equipment to ITH Pharma since 2014. In 2019, we assisted in upgrading the staff facilities and fitting out a new unit with a two-tier mezzanine floor, goods lift, and carton live picking system. Most recently, we worked with the main contractor, Enbloc Clean Facilities, to carry out alterations to the mezzanine floor to accommodate a further goods lift and fabrication work for a new Mobile Cleanroom for NHS Nightingale.

 

We have also performed office fit-outs, including partitioning, flooring, electrics, and ceilings.

Orbinox

Multi-facet fit-out contract for the relocation of Orbinox UK Ltd from Bognor Regis to Chichester. Construction of a two-storey office block with a mixture of solid and glass partitioning, including gas-fired central heating and air conditioning. New toilet facilities with a shower room and two canteen/coffee areas. Installation of racking and jib crane foundations within the warehouse. On the external walls, new windows were fitted in the ground and first-floor façades.

Costa Coffee

Everyone loves a coffee – and we were lucky enough to help one of the biggest global high street brands improve one of their branches. Stormor Systems won the contract to fit out one of two branches of Costa Coffee in Walthamstow, north-east London. Near Walthamstow station and market, the branch experiences a huge footfall of clients coming in to buy a quick coffee and maybe a bite to eat as they go about their busy lives. It is also, however, a popular meeting place for groups, including Link4Coffee events in the early evening, when people who live and work in the area can network. During the day, it is a great meeting place for young families. As a result, the coffee shop needed to maximise its space, which had high ceilings. This lent itself to a second level, so we helped them with a fit-out that included a mezzanine floor, commonly used in many warehouses and offices to make the most of the space. As you can see from the pictures, this increases the available square metres substantially. We also installed the staircase and glass handrail system to provide a clean, efficient, and modern finish for the branch.

"We are a long-established Land Rover main dealer, and over the last few years, we have seen significant growth in our parts business. In view of this, a decision was made to relocate the parts department to a dedicated warehouse with new offices, a mezzanine floor, and increased floor space capacity to cope with the growth.

After discussing my requirements with several suppliers, I chose Stormor to supply and install the racking. I initially discussed my needs with the Stormor team, who understood exactly what I required and offered alternative solutions. Plans and a quote were produced. Ian provided samples of the racking, so I could physically understand what I was buying. At this point, there were a few minor changes needed, but this didn’t hold up the schedule.

When it came to the installation, two installers were on-site and proceeded to install the racking at a fast pace. At all times, they communicated their progress and checked that I was satisfied with the build.

On completion, they cleaned up very well, and there was no evidence that they had been there, which was a credit to the installers. Since the initial build, I have ordered additional racking to complement the new warehouse."

Duckworth Land Rover Dealership

Stormor was given the opportunity to provide a quote for supplying shelving components for the new spares department storage area at Duckworth, a Land Rover main dealer in Market Rasen, Lincolnshire. This long-established dealership has seen significant growth in its spares business. Having assessed their needs, we presented our quotation and secured their business. We were one of several companies to quote for the work, offering a range of solutions.

A multi-product layout, including pallet racking, shelving, and a workbench, was installed within their new spares and accessories warehouse next to the main showroom. It is always gratifying when customers return for repeat business, as Duckworth did, to enhance the original order with further racking for their new warehouse.
