Double Deep Racking
Double Deep Racking is an advanced storage solution that optimises warehouse space by allowing pallets to be stored two rows deep while remaining accessible from the same aisle. This design reduces the number of access aisles, thereby maximising storage capacity and efficiency. Stormor Systems excels in providing custom Double Deep Racking installations tailored to your specific needs, ensuring optimal use of your warehouse space. Although the pallet racking is adjustable, once beams are slotted into position within the frame uprights, they form an interlocking structure of great strength and rigidity. Each beam is equipped with steel safety locking pins to ensure proper positioning and prevent accidental dislodgement during use. This system supports a Last In, First Out (LIFO) inventory method and requires specialised forklifts for accessing deeper pallets. Drive In Racking
Drive-in racking provides a space-efficient solution for the storage and throughput of palletised goods. By dispensing with access aisles, drive-in racking offers a high density of storage in a given area, increasing capacity by 60-80% over conventional ‘aisle’ racking. Racking heights of up to 11 metres allow the full height and floor area of the building to be used, providing maximum cubic storage space. This system allows forklifts to drive directly into the racking structure, retrieving and storing pallets from the same entry point, which is ideal for managing large quantities of identical products.
