Push Back Racking

LIFO (Last In First Out)

Push back racking is designed to maximise storage density while simplifying inventory management. In this system, pallets are placed onto trolleys or runners and pushed back into the racking lanes. When a pallet is retrieved, the remaining pallets naturally slide forward, ensuring that the next item is readily accessible. This configuration allows for up to four pallets deep in a single block, with access limited to just one aisle. The push back system operates on a Last In, First Out (LIFO) principle, making it ideal for operations where older stock is less critical. With no need for specialised handling equipment, push back racking offers a cost-effective way to enhance storage efficiency and streamline warehouse operations.

Pallet Live Racking

FIFO (First In First Out)

Pallet live racking systems utilise inclined roller tracks to create a dynamic storage solution where pallets are automatically rotated on a First In, First Out (FIFO) basis. As pallets are loaded from the rear of the rack, they gently roll forward to the picking face, ensuring that the oldest stock is always picked first. This automatic rotation enhances inventory management by reducing the likelihood of expired goods and maintaining stock freshness. The design increases storage density while allowing for direct access to all items, unlike some bulk storage systems that require specialised equipment for retrieval. Pallet live racking integrates seamlessly into conventional warehouses, supporting efficient order picking and minimising manual handling.

Carton Live Racking

FIFO (First In First Out)

Carton live racking is optimised for environments dealing with high turnover and fast-moving products. This system features inclined roller tracks that enable cartons to flow smoothly from the loading area to the picking face. By using a First In, First Out (FIFO) approach, carton live racking ensures that older inventory is accessed before newer stock, which helps maintain product quality and reduces waste. This manual, hand-loaded system is highly customisable to accommodate various carton sizes and weights, making it versatile for different storage needs. With its efficient use of space and minimal need for complex handling equipment, carton live racking is an excellent choice for dynamic retail and distribution environments.
